Eligibility Criteria

The educational requirements for the 2024 BHU Nursing Officer recruitment are as follows:

• Applicants seeking to become a nursing officer (male) must hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing OR a post-basic bachelor’s degree in nursing with one year of experience OR a diploma in general nursing and midwifery (GNM) with two years of experience and registration with the nursing council. There are 45 seats for male candidates.
• Candidates with a B.SC. in nursing OR a Post Basic B.SC. in nursing and a one-year Registered in Nursing Council experience OR a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and a two-year Registered in Nursing Council experience will be considered for the role of Nursing Officer (Female). There are 176 seats for male candidates.
• Candidates with a two-year experience and an MBBS degree are eligible to apply for the position of medical officer. There are 45 seats for male candidates.
• Although the minimum age requirement was not stated in the announcement, the candidate’s maximum age should not be greater than 30 years old.
