WB Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2024
West Bengal Police Recruitment Board, WBPR is responsible for the recruitment of various constable/SI posts every now and then. Recently another recruitment notification has been made available by the recruitment board on the official website (wbpolice.gov.in). WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024 will soon be opened for the recruitment of 3734 Constable / Lady Constable in Kolkata Police.

WBPRB Constable Notification 2024
The West Bengal Police Constable recruitment notification was made available on 28 February 2024. According to the notification, the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has invited applications to fill 3,734 posts, of which 3,464 are for constable posts and the remaining 270 for lady constable posts. The application process will start from March 1, 2024 and will continue till March 29, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria: –
To apply for the post of Constable, candidates have to fulfill certain eligibility criteria which are mentioned in the official notification. To be eligible for the post of Constable/Lady Constable, the applicant must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below.
Educational Qualifications:-
Applicant must have passed Class 10/Madhyamik (Secondary) Examination from any school of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
Language: –
All applicants must be capable of speaking, reading, and writing in Bengali, with the exception of those who are residents of the hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
Age Limit: –
- Applicants should be between 18 to 30 years of age.
- Age of candidates will be calculated as on 01.01.2024.
